While searching around here on Daily strength...looking for info in Rheumatoid Arthritis, I came across this group. And I thought I'd mention something that happened to me back over 16 yrs. ago. I was near the end of my last pregnancy and the nurse while looking over my bloodwork results mentioned something about me having antibodies for Hepatitis C in my blood. I rmember being very surprised. Then she asked me if I rmembered ever having Hepatitis C. I told her no. She said I must've had it at one time that I had the antibodies in my blood... Then it was dropped. It has never been mentioned again. What I'd like to know is this something I need to be concerned about after all this time? Do I mention this to my regular physician? It has been so long. I do suffer from severe joint pain...and always attributed it to rheumatoid arthritis. I just had blood work done to see if this is what I have (the arthritis). My joint pain can be caused by hepatitis?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
