Just wanted to pass this on. I read an article in the newspaper last week about how your mind can control the way your body responds to certain treatments such as Chemo. I dare say that interferon is as close to Chemo as one can get. If you believe it then it will happen. However, if you worry and have negative thoughts then that will affect the way your body responds. Very interesting I thought. So keep your chin up everyone and think positive!! It does make a difference.

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
