Here's a quick over view of the situation for those of you who don't know it. My daughter was diagnosed with Hep C, 1a, end of stage 3 in Oct. of 2008. In the spring of 2009 she tried tx and after about 17 weeks & 2 blood transfusions she was taken off tx because she was a nonresponder. So her new Hep doctor recently ordered new lab work (18 viles of blood) in order to prepare to start her on the new tx as soon as it is available. But being that she has been feeling so poorly lately he also ordered a sonogram. It showed that she had thickening of the gall bladder, her liver damage was more advanced thatn they suspected & possible heptatic masses. So he then ordered a MRI w/ contrast. They called yesterday & the nurse said that the MRI showed 3 "nodules" in the liver. We now have to go to one of the bigger hospitals clear down in Pittsburgh for a MRI with a special type of contrast (our hospitals up here in hick town aren't equipped for this specific test). When the nurse was explaining this test she then used the term "tumors" in stead of nodules. They are getting her in real quick for the test, wanted us to go this morning, but she had to work, so we have an appointment for Wed. morning. So anyone on here ever dealt with this before? Any info on what this might be & what might happen as a result of this would be appreciated. Prayers would also be appreciated.

Hello,My mother has been complaining of pain in her tooth for a week now. She had a root canal in January from a nearby dentist; they are not open now. I think its the root canal that's giving her a tough time, but I can't see any visible infection. I have been giving her antibiotics and painkillers for the last three days. I can see that she can't bear this any longer. I searched for some...
Since September 2019 I've been living with no upper teeth on a diet of tapioca pudding, potato salad, and Ben & Jerry's ice cream. That diet is getting a little old at this point--I wish I could eat normal food. If I were on Medicaid, I'd only have to go half a block to go to a denture dentist to get a denture, all expenses paid. That's what one woman in my personal care home did. Trouble is, I...
