Today was my first post tx appt. I won't know the results of blood draw until at least a week from now. I did find out that doc doesn't want patients taking milk thistle, choline, or ANY suppliments, not even vitamins during tx. He said that it can give false readings on liver enzymes. It may also work against the tx. I didn't tell him that I took it all throughout tx!! He said not to even take them after tx. He told me just to eat a healthy diet. I asked about permanent liver damage. He told me that alcohol related fibrosis is somewhat reversable, but not hep c damage! Not fair! He also told me that just because I am currently non-detectable, that it may reappear at any time. Meanwhile if it isn't completely irradicated from my body, that it is continually causing liver damage unbeknownst to me or him until it becomes detectable. Therefore, he will continue to test my liver enzymes frequently, and if something sends a red flag, he will test for hep c again. Before he told me that if I stayed clear for two years that I was considered cured. The story changed. I will post as soon as I get my blood work back. Keep me in your prayers too. Love and Respect, Cathie

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
