hi my name is briana and my brother has hep c and i think maybe hep b. i am not trying to be rude so i apologize in advance if the way i word my questions offend anyone. i just don't know anything about this and i am trying to help my brother. he just moved to where i live and he is staying between my mom's house and mine until he find his own place. i have 2 small children and i am scared to death that they will some how contract hepatitis. so my question is....how easy is it to pass on. i know that hep c is through blood only. does that mean it has to be a freshly bleeding cut or can it be something that has happened a couple of days ago. also what if he sleeps on my couch. can he give hep b that way. should i wash my blankets or anything. again i am sorry i sound so naive. i dont mean to be rude. i just really want to know. i am just scared for my family but i want to help my brother. please if anyone can help me by just giving me the 411 on hep b and/or c thank you so much
