The doctor had my son tested for Hep C at his one year checkup and they called me back letting me know that he has tested positive and that the anti-bodies are quite high. :-( I feel horrible but they said there is a chance it will clear by the time he's 18 months. I just looked at my son and cried. Because he's so cute and sweet, he really is a good boy and the doctors told me there was very little chance he would get it and now.... They say he does. I don't even know if they can treat kids that are young? Will they have to wait until he's older? I feel horrible because I know that I gave this to him, if indeed it doesn't clear.
