ok I have insurance, & I tested positive for hepatitis c antibodies. So further testing is being done to determine that I absolutly have hep c & it wasnt false positive.
This is my problem. Mike, my fiancee doesnt have insurance. We are getting married in 9 months, but if I absolutly have hep c then he must be tested & I feel like his chances of having it are high because we have shared razors, tooth brushes, nail clippers, & everything else...literally!
so my question is should I get him on my insurance once I find out that I have hep c. This would involve us getting married early (which isnt a big deal to either of us) & then I'd have to put him on my very expensive insurance.
I dont know what else to do because if he gets tested before he goes on my insurance and is positive then maybe they wont treat him because its "pre-exsisting".....right?
Also if he goes without insurance he might not get the kind of treatment he deserves! Beacuse I seen people writing bad things about medicaid or whatever its called & no having the liver biopsy done or delayed treatment.
please give adive if you have it. what insurance do you have & of not what do you have?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
First, your fiancee may not have hep c.
If your insurance plan is a group plan, (more than one employee) once you establish a "family plan" with your spouse as a part of the coverage, they cannot refuse you or your husband for ANY preexisting conditions.
Where I worked, I hired someone with a history of heart problems (pre existing) and the insurance company (empire blue cross blue shield)covered all his meds when he had bypass surgery.
Find out about your ins plan and the coverage.
Hope this helps you
Stay well.
