Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
This was the problem with me, I felt sick, I stayed in bed 24 hours a day, thinking it would be better the next day, but it wasn't in fact it got worst and worst.
Which only meant that the meds were doing it's job with this very hard virus to kill.
What I should have done is, yes listen to my body, take a nap a day, but still push myself to continue to the best of my ability to do things on my agenda.
So try to keep as active as you can possibily can, exercise if possible, and as skeeter says, drink loads of water.
The best of luck on your battle with the dragon, and may you win the war.

I exercised all the time before tx, but I let the fatigue win, so I did much more sitting around instead of moving around.
I don't care if it's just a walk around the block, I'd recommend everyone to move.
but if your geno is 1a...think hard....it is a brutal regimen and i am worse now then before I did the treatment..godd luck! xx
