Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
It's different for everyone. I think around the beginning of tx, my scalp began to get tingly and was sensitive. That was my first sign, I was def going to have scalp/ hair issues.
It 'dawned' on my a few weeks ago when I noticed it had been 8 weeks since a trim - usually get it cut every 4-5 weeks. It's just not growing as fast. Then I started noticing more hair coming out when I washed it. I know it's 'just hair', but geez...lol
