hair thinning?

I have noticed during the last 4 weeks my hair is getting thinner. I know a lot of people have this side effect. My question is, 'Will it stop, or it is just going to get worse?"

I lost nearly half of my hair, in 24 weeks of tx. It was so weird, I think it actually stopped growing, or very slow growing. It kept falling out, until about three months post tx. A year and a half later, my hair is finally back to normal.

It's different for everyone. I think around the beginning of tx, my scalp began to get tingly and was sensitive. That was my first sign, I was def going to have scalp/ hair issues.

My hair started thinning around wk 20 My treatment was 24 wks so I didn't lose too much And it did grow back quite nicely for an old dude

i lost 3/4 of my hair in treatment. (it all grew back!) i looked just awful so 'barb9999' suggested i cut it real short so i cut it all off. about an inch all over! and it looked so much better.

yes it pretty much happens to all of us..my hair is thin and wiry.it'll grow back iguess i just finihed tx.just starting recovery.hang in there.god bless.

Unfortunately, it gets worse. During months 10 and 11 of tx, I wouldn't even get my hair cut because I was embarrassed (whoever would cut my hair would talk about how thin my hair was and I would watch them pull my hair off of their hands). I look back now and realize how silly that was, but it was hard. I'm 5 months post tx and have decided to keep a shorter do!

Thanks for all the replies.

It 'dawned' on my a few weeks ago when I noticed it had been 8 weeks since a trim - usually get it cut every 4-5 weeks. It's just not growing as fast. Then I started noticing more hair coming out when I washed it. I know it's 'just hair', but geez...lol

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
