Hi Everyone... This is a concern that has come up several times. I have heard that hair loss can occur when on treatment. Since Interferon is chemo some folks have some hair loss or even a lot. I have heard do not wash your hair a lot or use a very mild shampoo when doing so. Also do not braid or tie hair tight like pony tails and such. I have very long hair and if I start to lose it while on treatment I may consider cutting it off and donating it to kids with cancer. There is a program which makes wigs for kids with cancer. It does specify a minumum length. DOes anyone have any information or personal experience with this subject?? ALso this is another subject but does anyone have personal experience or know someone who has done well on treatment?? I mean their experience with the drugs not the outcome?? Thank you to all and may you all be blessed many times over. We all need this everyday.....
