my dad has been very sick over the last year and while he was in the hospital we found out that he has hep b and c. i talked to his doc about it and he told me that it was dormant in his body and that he has probably had it for years. what exactly does dormant mean? is it still hurting his body and can he still pass it? if a person has had it for so long can you still take treatment and get rid of it? new with lots of questions.
