Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
Any amount of alcohol is hard on your liver, so I don't see how an item that contains alcohol can be said to be good for the liver.
Just stick with your milk thistle and vitamins, B C and E, plus a good clean diet, and you will be fine.
It does cleanse the system.
If you stay away from every single thing that has alcohol in it...you ain't gonna be eatin' or drinkin' much of nothin'.
Personally, I feel that stress is worse on your liver than any amount of alcohol. So...don't stress over the apple cider vinager. Just make up your own mind and just 'do it'.
Apple cider vinegar is very helpful for the body.
Why don't you do this? Sit down and write on a piece of paper the pro's and con's and then make up your mind.
I'm thinkin' seriously about gettin' mine out and doin' a dose of it.
It may have alcohol in it but very little and it does more good than harm.
It's your body. You're the one that lives in it. Make up your own mind.
Personally...I'd do the vinager.
Now...are you good and confused?
It all depends on the person. Everyone is different.
Love ya,
Tasmoe
Yes, stress can be hard on the liver, but just like refraining from drinking alcohol you can do something about stress too.
Lest somebody misunderstand my motivations, since I am a minister, I do not see anything wrong with drinking alcohol in moderation except where it is harmful even in moderation such as with HCV patients, addicts or when driving.
That's my nickel's worth on the subject, now I am going to go find my flask if I can remember where I put it. :-)
