In my province, I applied for coverage and pay just a percentage of my earnings.
I looked in your journal but can't clearly see why you need this temp coverage asap?

The journal entries are correct, I don't think they can get rid of you. But you still need to remain active if possible.
The bottom line is if you and your Doctor think you need the time off, well you should take it. Each of us are different.
Good luck with the Tx and the work decisions you have to make. I know it can't be easy.
It sounds to me that you should be able to get it without much fuss. If you have conditions that are easily provable, i.e. x-rays, you probably won't have to wait very long.
Anyone can tell you that it is much harder to get disability than it used to be. I was turned down 2x and had to have a hearing. All in all, I waited 3 yrs. And it didn't even have anything to do with hep c! Best advice, get an attorney!!!! You will be glad you did.
