I have been trying to be as organic as possible to limit toxins to my liver. I have been using the Nioxin for a couple of weeks now, it does make my hair feel and look thicker. (i"m not on tx yet). But, it makes my scalp itch like crazy and crusty like. I found an alternative to nioxin. It's at health food stores and it's probley online. It's called Jason. I pronounced it in my southern drawl as jay-sun but was enlightened by a smart ass in whole foods that it is jay-soon. Anyhoo, there are many different kinds, i got "thin-thick". It is great!!!Works as well, if not better. No laurel sulfate crap-no bad stuff. It is much less cost. Also, they have the little bottle of tx like nioxin, also hair spray i think. I am real impressed with the stuff. Beth
