ALT tests determine liver injury. they measure different enzymes in the liver.
how do i feel??
i've been off the meds for 2 weeks now. the first 4 days were awful!!!!!!!! then good and bad. the last 3 days were ok, just starting to get little bursts of energy back and not feeling tired during the day. my appitite is really good too. my mind is sharper, skin is better. no more bad moods.
but my doctor also reminded me that in some people it can take 3 to 6 months to get back to normal again. plus...... depending on your liver damage, that can alter on how you feel too.
but i'm just glad i'm off the meds! that was the worst 6 months of my life!!
if you have a copy of your first blood tests and dont know what they mean, you can GOOGLE what you want to know and it will tell you everything.....
hand in there.........

Your ALT/AST do not need to be at a certain level to do tx.
Mine were just fine - in the 20s - yet I did tx.
Yours are decreasing so I would see that as a good thing for you.
Take a look at the links to get more info on ALT and AST values and what they mean to your health.
