I was diagnosed with hepa b and a reactive hbaeg on my lab results. My Dr. suggested me to drink baraclude which i am drinking for 2 days now.The thing is i'm a bit scared on where the origin of the virus came from. I had been in contact with high risk HIV women in the past although it was safe sex i still could not rule out the posibility of being infected by them.My sister also had hepa b five years ago and with similar condition as mine she has now stoped taking medicine and is already declared non reactive.I read in the internet that drinking baraclude can cause resistance to hiv medicines so I might take an hiv test soon although I am not so sure when because its quite expensive.Just in case I have Hiv when will the resistance take effect when Im drinking baraclude? Is it advisable for me to stop taking it first and wait for the hiv lab results? please help me with good advise.thanks
