Ok~ my husband just turned 41 and has been being treated for arthritis. He had some blood work done and his ferritin level was over 3300, another iron test was 90%. The GI specialist we saw discussed hemochromatosis with us and he had the blood test done, along with many other blood tests, and it has been 3 weeks...haven't found out yet. We go in next week for the results. Why on earth does this test take so long? Will the arthritis go away with the phlebotomies? I have so many questions. His liver enzymes were also elevated. Is age 41 old to be catching this? His hands and knees are bad. He's having daily headaches. His energy level is very low. He had glucose in his urine a few months ago. I'm afraid his system is totally out of whack. Any input would be welcome.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
