I have a cocker spaniel and was taking her out a couple of days ago about 4 in the morning. I have a barn with a light that faces my yard that has a photo sensor on it, comes on at dark and goes off in the daytime. After my husband died a storm damaged the light and I had my son replace it. As I was walking my dog I noticed that all of the sudden it got darker. I looked up and the light had just dimmed and as I was watching kept dimming and went out. The light on the other side of the barn was still on. I believe that my son was letting me know he was there! I think he used the light because he knew that I would remember that he replaced it and would think of him and I did. The next night the light came on as usual and has been fine since.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
