Hello, Last thursday I had a treadmill and doctor called before I returned homeand said I needed a heart cath. I completely passed out when the dye was introduced and awoke an hour later with flashing lights and blurred vision. It went away in about 1/2 an hour. I felt shacky but happy that I had no heart blockages and only a prescription for coreg. I was told to stop taking Bisoprolol Hztz which I have taken for 15 years and begin taking the Coreg immediately. The next morning I took the Coreg. Within the hour , I was mildly dizzy and when I went to tie my shoe nearly passed out. I had to return to the hospital that morning for more blood work . Had a run around at the hospital because they said I was still admitted from the previous day which of course I wasn't. They could not read the doctors orders for the bloodwork and I had to wait another hour before it was drawn . By then I was exhausted. It had been about 3 hours since I had taken the Coreg. Suddenly I had a major panic attack . Hubby got me in the car and we began to drive home. The blurred vision came back and I was hypersensitive to the bright sunlight . I began crying uncontrollably and it was as if every neuron in my body was firing at the same time. I was so suicidal that I wanted to jump out of the moving car . I was never so scared in my life. What was happening to me? I called my doctor as soon as I got home told the receptionist and she said she would foreward the message. I did not hear from the office until the next day when they called to tell me the results of the blood test. . I asked her about the Coreg and she knew nothing about it but would talk to the doctor. Another 24 hours has passed and I have heard nothing. I have not taken any more Coreg and I have returned to taking the Bisoprolol. I am very scared. What should I do?

Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
