I just have to let the reader know a couple of things: I have bipolar disorder, though I work part-time and do volunteer work as well as go to religous activities. My family is the problem, right now it's one of my sisters. I already know her, and how she is, but when she comes around I have to put up with her, I just don't know how. I am a christian, Catholic, I just can't treat her rudelly, rather I need to find a way to get across. Assertiveness has not helped. I will tell you the story, she appears uninvited to my daughters graduation with her own daughter. She has an arrogance and a hypocricy that gets me sick. She is always trying to talk to me like she is so concerned about me, but she really thinks I am just a failure, (by past conversation I know that) which whom she should have pity on. For example she expressed that she felt so sorry for my daughter because she was graduating and seem so happy. In her eyes, the University my daughter was graduating from was not good enough, so she was asking me if it was a public or private school. I told her to look it up on line. It is bothersome for someone to constantly look at you wiith pity and treat you with pity, to me supposelly because of all the things that have happened in my life, but she is such a fake. You can tell when someone is honest and when not, no? I can. Sometimes our family were gathered together to wait for the graduate, what do I do during that time? I am trying to ignore her, but I don't know where to put my face, it all seems so noticeble in front of everyone else. Then in the car she was talking about my daughter saying that she should study two more yrs to study law. Really, what she is trying to say is She needs more education, because this is not enough.
