So I'm in a relationship, we're 4 months in, and we're happy for the most part...the major problem is me-I have severe trust issues. If we go too long without talking I get nasty scenarios in my head that push me to the point of a panic attack. I've always had a problem with trusting people, even in friendships. It seems like this relationship is worse though, because it's more mature than my others. I've always had teenage mindset-relationships in the past but this one is a serious one with adult values, like the fact that he has his own place. That freaks me out because I've never dated anyone who lived on their own, and I don't know how to deal with it, because of the scenarios I get in my mind...they're about him cheating. We're very open, and whenever we have issues we talk them out. We've talked about past relationships and he said he's never cheated on anyone...he seems like a trustworthy person, I just legitimately don't know how to allow myself to trust...any advice or tips? They would be much appreciated
