If you're infatuated with someone, I'd say this person is like a drug that you can't get enough of. Being "in love" may very well be the same thing because you just want to be with this person all the time, spend your life with them, etc.
infatuation is blooming love...whether or not you 'fall in love' depends on so many factors and being ready for the committment that a relationship requires is another component.
Example, I'll reference Bridges of Madison County - awesome love tale - was it infatuation or was it love, the 4 day affair? would it have changed, morphed into something else if she had left her home and ran away with him? the answer is absolutely! And some would say it was only an infatuation and how can you 'know love' with a person you don't know...?
All depends on you...
Also I'll add to 'roberts' comment...I think any person's head can be turned, it really is a matter if you start walking in that direction leaving your 'loved one' behind...and also I'd like to question, just because someone cheats does it necessarily mean they are not in love with their wife/hub/partner, etc?
I really wish I could give you 50 of the inspirationals tags!
It was a perfect answer!!!!
Infatuation is Love's obese cousin.
