Just recently diagnosed during my last semester of college after getting simple chest cold (respiratory infection) in February 2017. Only suffered numbness and burning in hands, feet and left shin. Did 3 days on IVIG. Horrific experience, never want to do it again. I currently take Gabepentin and B12 vitamins. I tried Cymbalta for a few weeks but it turned me into a sleeping zombie. I got off those so I could finish college. I'm only 3 months into recovery. My question is periodically I get random numbness still. Sometimes only lasts 30 minutes or few hours. Is this common? I've read about full recoveries and people eeventually getting off Gabepentin. How can you tell if your healing if the medication blocks the pain?
Two employees at Dunkin Donuts didn't know what a cake or raiseddonut were. It seems strange to me. Is it normal not to teach employeesabout the donuts they are selling? I asked if they had any cake donuts because Ididn't see them. The employees said they don't sell cake. They just started atme when I tried to explain the difference in texture between raised and cakedonuts.
