I was diasgnosed in October with Graves disease. Since then I've gone hyPO due to over medication then hyPER again. All the time I've had hyper symptoms I've had a 25 day cycle and had very light periods, all of them painless. Last Monday I got results that I was hyper again and put on 20mg Carbimazole. Yesterday my period started and I'm in horrid pain. I'm very heavy too. This time my cycle has been 30 days. I have read that heavy painful periods are a symptom of hyPO, is this a sign I'm going under active again? I really don't want to go down this slippery slope again, can anyone help me please? I've gone hyper to hypo to hyper again within 12 weeks, I feel like my body can't cope if this carries on yoyoing up and down.
