Hi all! I just wanted to share something that was successful for me, in the hopes that I can help someone else!
I was diagnosed with a vitamin D deficiency about 2 months ago. I was told this is very common in people who do not get alot of sun. The more I've heard about this vitamin, the more evidence I've seen that it GREATLY benefits people with autoimmune disorders, like Graves.
I have been on vitamin D now for abut two months. Many of the symptoms I attributed to Graves and being hypo are now gone. I do not miss the body aches or low energy levels. I feel like a NORMAL person and I have enough energy to make it through ANY day.
This feels like a miracle to me now. I have always thought that I felt SHI**Y because of my thyroid. Now I know there were other factors.
Please get tested to see where your vitamin D levels are. It is easy to add on to any other thyroid testing. It has made SUCH A HUGE difference for me. I hope it can for you too!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I agree wholeheartedly with your advice. I have been on vitamin D 1200mg/day, plus 1000mg/day of calcium, (for us old timers out here over 40). Had a bone density scan last year and my Endo. recommended both dosages for me. Benefit of vitamin D, plus staving off osteoporsis with calcium.
Good Job!!!!
