I have had the drying of the skin . For my face I got Moisture Surge (By Clinque) It can be used as a lotion ir as a Moisture Mask to leave on for 5min

As for hands and feet I heard Bag Balm (Its what they use on Horses I believe) or Udderly Smooth or even Corn Huskers Oil ( All sold at Like Vitmin Shopee Cvs Harmons places like that)

I use moisture surge and you can use it before putting on your moisturerizer. I would ask your dermatologist what they recommend. Sounds like your dryness is more extreme. Also, it could be due to the weather change and your skin is real sensitive. What meds are you on? Are you tanning? If so do you use tanning product? I would use a good moisturizing body wash. I used oils when I was pregnant because my skin got really dry especially my belly. As far as your dry throat... Its probally the meds or you may be dehydrated.

Thanks!! I am farmiliar with Bag Balm & will try that. I drink lots of water & I do not tan at all. I stay out of the sun and put lotion on my hands at least 15x a day. I do rep for a Natural Stone company and that will dry my hands but it has always been a problem just getting worse now! I even sleep with lotion & socks on my hands it is soooo bad :-) I will tell my Endo when I see him next week. Thanks Gals!

My dry skin is really bad on my face,, I actually get scabs over my eyebows... I have been using creams two to three times a day,, sux when you have to wear make-up!

I have always had very dry skin on my hands and feet,, however, have noticed here recently that my legs look like they are scaly.... LOL,, just call me the resident fish!

I just thought of another skin rash I got before I was diagnost with Graves. I got a horrible rash on my shin. It lasted about a month. I was reading about symptoms of graves and having a rash on your shins is one of them. I do know that after RAI treatment you do get really ashy dry skin.

I've always had dry hands from excema and find the best hand cream is neutrogena fragrance-free hand cream helps- I literally use it every time I wash my hands and at bedtime. My dermatologist also recommended Theraplex Emmolient- it is non prescription but you have to ask for it at the pharmacy counter. Good luck!

I would maybe check with a dermatologist, they could give you a prescription that would help.

Dry skin is also a sign of your thyroid being low, make sure your values are ok, I found using oil or vasoline at night with cottone gloves helps alot. Mary

If the problem is stemming from work then there is a product called gloves in a bottle...I've used it before when I was doing alot of clay work and I know some nurses who use it too

After many years of painfully dry, cracked and bleeding hands, and trying all sorts of cream no matter what the expense, I finally found one that worked for me!

It was a construction guy that swore by it, and by golly, I do too!

It's called "No-Crack Super Hand Cream" from Restoration Hardware, no kidding!

I get the fragrance free version, so can't say if the "smelly" ones work as well.

Went to my Dermotologist (Love Him) Friday. Asked him about the dry skin I get due to Graves and Prob Methmazole . He said use Eurcien (Spelling?) Lotion W/ Alpha Hydroxy He gave me samples ..I bought it at walgreens its about $14 but a decent sized bottle Also it is non comedgenic (spelling again Sry) So you can even use it on ur face . I jst started using it and it seems to put alot of hydration in your skin feels smooth doesnt look scaly worth a shot>
