Why are you always so negative????
Celia IS researching if she is reading up on GD and asking questions. Many here ask about a product it doesn't mean they are selling anything.
Have you had a chance to read the sentence under comment????
"Thyroid Solution" by Dr. Ridha Arem is a great book. I read it last year from the public library and it was long overdue for me to read this book considering I've been part of thyroid boards for several years! :D
I know of a number of a people who went to see this doctor with good results.
I'm sorry I do not know anything about ThyroidLife. Are you able to find out if this doctor has a website and perhaps do research online to read what others have to say about the supplement?
Take care... :-)
I am not familiar with that supplement. I will read up on it more. Supplements/vitamins are needed for immune support. If you are hyperthyroid you need to avoid the ones with iodine and artificial colors. I think it's excellent that you are researching and have the support of your family!!
"" KUDOS to you my Dear"
As for the seemingly direct and offensive accusation made by one of the other responders... please disregard that reply. The rest of us know that you are here for help and support and we are here for you.
AS for the supplement do you get it at a nutritional Store? I think I saw something like it there.

My Endo was having me take Selenium with my methimazole, and an antioxidant mix that had vitamins A,C,D and E in them. I was told that the antioxidants are important for neutralizing thyroid damage, and that patients were more likely to go into remission when they took selenium. I am also taking Flax seed oil.
My daughter got me a liquid tincture of bugleweed, lemon balm, motherwort and cactus stem, and I was hesitant to take it at first, but I do have to say that it is has been quite helpful for me when I have hyper symptoms. My Endo did not recommend this tincture, but told me that because it makes me feel better, I can continue to take it with my tea.
