So I have had a battle I started out in October being extremly hyperthyroid they told me, I was told my best option was RAI, I did that 11-16-07 not even a month later I was in the ER because my TSH had dropped to 50. I have since changed Drs and have been put on synthroid. She started me at 25mcg the I went to 37mcg then she cut me back to 25 stating i was going hyper again, at my last appointment two weeks ago I was told that she thinks the RAI is now worked because even on the 25mcg I was plumeting to hypo. She increase my dosage to 50mcg, I guess what I want to know is does anyone know how long it will take for me to start feeling better with this increase as it is still hard for me to get out of bed and even function throughout the day with this, this is affecting my job. She also stated that she was sure she was going to have to do another increase in meds in 4 weeks as she is sure 50mcg isnt going to make me go baseline. I am just getting so frustrated as I just want to be my happy go lucky self again, I am still having anxiety and I thought anxiety went away when you went hypo.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
