Hi all, I have been on carbimazone for almost 8 years for hyperthyroidism..My specialist has now recommended me to try this treatment of radioiodine as soon as I can. I have read a lot of this kind of treatment but I am still unsure. I am scared. I know it has been around for almost 50 years and it have been proven to be successful. However,I also understand that it might also lead to hypothyroidism. Please give me some advice esp those who has had this done.
