I was diagnoseda few weeks ago with hyperthyroid (TSH undetectable, T3 22, upper limit of the range is 10, T4 60, upper range 20) ? cause. my TPO antibody was negative, but my husband organised a technetium uptake scan, which showed a severe amount of uptake (i cant remember the %). obviously i was diagnosed with graves, despite waiting for the TSH antibody results (in the UK we only test for two anibodies) anyway my antibody was 13 (normal range is 0.04), which they say is high. Ive been told that this can lead to miscarriage even in the future once my thyroid function is sorted. i just wondered if anyone had any experience of pregnancy/information. ive looked on medline/medical journal sites/google, but i cant seem to find that much.
