Just talked w/ my Endo he saidmy alt liver is fine b12 fine my levels after reducing my dose from 2.5mg of Methmazole daily to 2.5mg every other day my levels were on the lower end of normal. He asked if Iwanted to try and stop the meds but Im afraid b/c last time we did that I got so sick. So he said I can continue the 2.5 every other day if Im afraid. He talked w/ my theripist and suggested for the depression Im feelin I should maybe think about Prozac because he said they may feel that since i was such a active person before and this has cause such a negative affect on me by slowing me down this can be alot of my problems . And my feeelings arent matching up w/ my labs.Does this sound right to anyone ? Anyone have any experience like this ?

What are your labs? How exactly are you feeling??

I'm also curious what your labs are. I was wondering how come your doc wants to put you on every other day dosing instead of less medication daily. Just curious.

Hi I should be getting my labs in the mail . I see him now in two weeks. He explained to me that I am basically at a good level. Semi Eurothyroid ...2.5 Methamazole is really the lowest dose you can take and takin that every other day instead of everyday I guess is how they are lowering the dose now.

My endo called me to tell me my levels were under control and to take 50 mg of PTU two times daily. I was an emotional basket case. So I stopped by his office and made him go over the levels with me. He realized he had made a mistake and had me up my meds to three times a day. I have since been lowered to two times a day. But sometimes they make mistakes too.

Mistakes can lead to serious health risk. So make sure he doesnt make any more mistakes....

I now make the lab fax me my results so I have a copy to go over with my endo when he calls.

I would complain and find another Dr.

Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
