I was diagnosed with Graves in October. I have been on Methimazole since and had been feeling much better. My endo has slowly been lowering my dosage. Over the past two weeks my hair has been falling out. I know it is crazy but I really didn't think anything about it until this past Wednesday I was brushing my hair back in front of the mirror and noticed bald spots. I immediately went to the doctor and the blood work showed that I am very hyper again. I guess thinking about it, I have been feeling tired but not horrible. Anyway, this hair thing is killing me. I cry a lot and am afraid to brush or wash my hair because I don't want to lose more. I can tell that I am getting very depressed. I've missed 3 days of work... UGH! Has anyone else experienced hair loss? Did it come back? Is there something I can do? My doctor increased my dose of meds and said that when my levels stabilize he wants me to have RAI immediately. (I was trying to just take meds with the hope of going into remission). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is so familiar to me as that is what happened to me when I was a teenager and now I have a thyroid problem. But his tsh is normal. UGH. Going to the doctors...
