Can there be other causes of hyper thyroid along with graves? After a year of going to different specialists I was finally given a diagnosis over the phone that I have Graves Disease. The doctor was like duh you shoul have known.(have to change her) All she wants to do is have me go for RAI, but don't I need an Up Take to confirm? Can there be other causes of hyperthyroid along with graves? Why did it take her so long to diagnose? She gets so annoyed when I ask questions and she can't understand why I don't want to get RAI.(She wouldn't tell me my blood levels ,she only said you are still hyper) I am on 10mg of methamozole a day and going up to 15mg. Seems the more methamazzole I take the worse I am getting. Also my eyes are killing me but eye docs can't find anything wrong. Can it be too soon to tell?
