Has anyone gone to a gastroenterologist that specialized in Graves Disease?
I need to find a Gastroenterologist.
Having diarrhea the majority of the time since confirmed in January. Just so tired of this.
I asked my Endocrinologist to test me for H. Pylori but she refused.
She said I needed to find a GI. And, she is right. The diarrhea has gone on too long.
I searched high and low and the only one I could find treated Celiac and Crohns. (Both auto-immune diseaseas)
Also, it’s a woman doctor. At this time in my life, I am tired of male doctors (accept for my Neurologist). Yes, I am discriminating. Unfortunately, through-out my life, male doctors have disappointed me and it’s time that I allow women doctors to take care of me. Haven’t had any regrets since I decided this.
Is anyone out there suffering from constant diarrhea from GD? What do you do to take care of it?
Another night and I still can't sleep. I've been diagnosed with Graves for about a year now. Tonight I finally decided to join this group. Maybe see if it will help me feel better. Or at the very least more sane. I'm tired of my friends and family saying, "It's been a year, aren't you better?" No, I'm not. In fact, I don't feel like myself at all, but a completely different person. I'm tired most...
