I was treated with radio active iodine in May 2007, which made me hypothyroid. I am now taking 150mcg of thyroxine daily. I have had no eye problems as far as I know until in May 2008 I woke up one day with a headache that has never really gone away. I am short sighted and wear both glasses and contact lenses. I have also started getting eye problems - I have extreme pain in my eyes when looking up which worsens my headache, intermittent double vision when wearing my contact lenses and reading and blurred vision. I eyes also seem to get "confused" sometimes and it makes me feel slightly dizzy. This is worse when using the computer. I have had a recent eye test, which showed a slight deterioration with my sight. The headache is left sided and of a dull throbbing nature, changing in severity but never disappearing completely. I have seen a neurologist and had a ct scan (normal) and was diagnosed with chronic migraine. Before this episode I had never suffered a migraine. Could these problems be connected to my graves disease, I do not have any eye protrusion. My contact lenses are sometimes uncomfortable to wear and feel dry. Please help as I have tried so many medications, none of which have helped (anti depressants, beta blockers, anti epileptics) and am gettign very depressed. ny advice would be greatly received.

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
