I don't know what can be done and I refused mood stabilizing drugs also,, cause I don't want to be on them the rest of my life... If you find a good "affordable" answer.. please let me know!
I noticed that I'm more emotional when my thyroid levels are high - things bother me more...
I just try to take deep breathes since I don't want to stress myself even more..Hope you feel better and we all understand what you are going through! Hugs!
I have tried Qigong with GREAT Success :) It's a type of Chinese Exercise that includes poses, meditation, and breathing. It's been so helpful to me as I try to understand this auto immune disease that is causing such havoc in my life now.
Since beginning Qigong, I have become more calm, relaxed, steady, and my endo says she thinks I may be going into remission :)
I am grateful for this practice.
If you're interested, do a google search for Qigong.
I am using the Ken Cohen "Essential Qigong Training Guide" It includes cd's and dvd's and a wonderful explanation of how to relax into Qigong, and let your body heal itself.
Very best to all of you.
