Just wanted to "rant" a bit!! I had the RAI in Feb. of 2009, STILL not much change in my labwork, etc!! When I went through my testing when diagnosed with Graves, etc, my Uptake scan showed a one centimeter Nodule, which I was thinking would have been GONE, along with my Thyroid, due to the ablation! BUT>>> This week I had a chest CT Scan, because of ongoing sickness, and low and behold, it showed a MASS now, in my thyroid!! I could just scream!!! SO>> apparently the Ablation did NOT work, and my Endo didnt even CHECK my neck/throat area the last time I was there, just a few weeks ago! My family Doc said he will turn the mass results over to my Endo.. to deal with that issue... Needless to say, I am shopping for another Endo! I wondered if anyone else has had the same problem, with the ablation NOT working, and a nodule getting worse?? Thankx for any support or input!!
