In March of 08 I was diagnosed with grave's disease. I went through the PTU and propanalol and Methimezole and none of it worked. Then in May of 08 I landed in the hospital with a medistinal mass (pray its due to the thyroid) which the biopsy came back inconclusive. Then in October 08 I landed back in the hospital with a stroke and still am in a nursing home. In Dec 08 I got RAI. They are running more blood tests to see if it worked because I am once again seeing symptoms of hyperthyroidism. They also see the beginning stages of the eye disease associated with Grave's. On top of all that today, they also think the mass has grown and is pressing on my esophogus and veins around my heart. And needless to say there is more. I also found out September of last year both my daughter and I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. So i am having a very rough time with it all.
