My 6 year old talks all the time in school. Her teacher and I have discussed her behavior several times in the past 6 months and nothing we have tried has helped. I have grounded her, taken toys away, taken away special privilages away, such as watching tv, or playing games on the internet, playing with friends, nothing seems to get thru to her. I was hoping that someone out there could give me some advice on what to do next. I know kids will talk, but her talking is really disruptive to the class. Her daddy, who passed away in 06, taught her to talk loud, and she does all the time. She was his youngest granddaughter but we adopted her in 2004. I am really at a loss as what to do next. I hate punishing her for being talkative but I need some advice as to what can I do to have her be quiet in school. She is a smart little girl, gets good grades, when she listens, reads well, writes well, and talks all the time. This is really stressing me out and at my age (56) I don't need any more stress. Please Help.... Thanks in advance.....

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
