My g/s has very seldom slept thru the night since he was born, but lately he has been waking up screaming. At first I would go into his room and try to just comfort him without picking him up, but he would just keep screaming. The other night he fell asleep right away and I even commented to my husband that the baby must have been totally exhauseted cause he went right out. About 20 minutes later he woke up screaming. I went online that night and did some reaearch and it made me think that maybe he's having night terrors. The advice I got on the internet was not to let him watch tv close to bedtime, to try and get him in a relaxed state before we put him to bed. They say TV is too stimulating. So I decided to try it. Shut the TV off an hour before he went to bed and put a baby's Music Sleep CD on very low in his room. He seemed to transition from TV to this lullaby music quite well, and so far so good. But just wondering if anyone else has had this experience and is this night terrors or what????
