I got custody of twin boys after 18months in a foster home where all they ate was hotdogs, mac/cheese, and cheerios. It has been a real problem to get them to eat anything else. I found a wonderful book called "Deceptively Delicious" by Jessica Seinfeld. (Jerry's wife). It has great receipes and although somethings she describes the boys won't eat - it has put me on the path of more enjoyable mealtimes. They now eat pancakes made with V8 juice and they love them. I put pureed peas, or carrots, or corn in their mac/cheese and they don't even notice the difference. The book has been a godsent and it has been fun trying to come up with different things on my own. Did you all know that pureed spinnage is not noticable in brownies or oatmeal cookies?! I still put veggies on their plate but don't get a knot in my stomach if they don't eat them.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
