Day started out okay today. But soon fell apart - AGAIN. I got a call from the daycare that my g/s was acting up again. He was written up twice on Friday. I decided that the "time out" thing wasn't working, so I decided to try a new approach today. I guess sometimes we just need to stop and listen before we judge. See, I thought, since they were the adults, I should always believe them and didn't give my g/s a chance to explain. I did the opposite today. I told him that we would go to lunch, just mawmaw and him, and then asked him what happened. Apparently he and 2 other boys were playing and it sounds like to me he just got over excited and ended up hurting one of the boys. Not bad. They were playing with a dinosaur, he got "bit" first by one of the boys (by the dinosaur, not the boy), they all laughed, then CJ "bit" another boy (with the dinosaur) but apparently just pushed a little too hard. Of course, they (teachers) all assumed he was being mean and he was asked to leave for the day. I just wonder how many times this has happened in the last month and a half when he has been making "bad choices"............
We had a very nice lunch, and now we are off to play Candyland and Chutes and Ladders.
Talk to all of you later, and THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT!
Guess I just need to work on myself a little to try to understand them a little more....

Teachers can be so damn petty sometimes. There are times they need to worry and sometimes the problem is not really a problem at all.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
