Hi all I was on nexium for 10 months for gastritis. It did not really help and started giving me reflux and pain doctor took me off it cold turkey. I feel awful upset atomach and reflux all the time. It has been a month The doctor now says the gastritis on june 5 endoscopy was mild and would not be causing symptoms nor would rebound from the ppi. She does not seem to know what is the reason and told me it was stress and that the nexium was lowering the acid and now I am just noticing it. That seems like a long shot. Any stories on rebound how long it lasts? Does nexium affect digestion and how long for it to balance out? Thanks
