Hi all, I am having such a terrible time right now. The esophagitis in my throat has gotten so bad I can't even eat anythingn anymore. The pain is unbearable, it flares up into my ears and nose. I hate taking meds and was trying to cure this naturally but nothing is working, and the acid has gotten so bad I had to go back to nexium and PPIs again. It hurts so bad I can barely function most days. I am trying to get up to Shands Clinic for help because this is just beyond me at this point. I have tried everything from natural remedies, to changing my diet, to digestive enzymes, probiotics, yogurt, herbs, fasting, detox, juicing, you name it I have probably tried it. I have gotten all the tests done, I was diagnosed with bile reflux, acid reflux, gastroparesis, Gall Bladder disease, Esophagitis, LPR, ugh....this is awful. I'm serious when I say this affliction is beyond me at this point. I go for days without eating because it hurts so bad. And when I do eat, everything just sits in my stomach and ferments. I also had esophageal manametry done and results showed I have a weak LES which could explain why when i dont eat for days i lay down and my throat is flooded with fluid. Its so awful. I am so depressed over this and wonder if I will ever get better. It's giving me panic attacks and extreme depression and anxiety. And I have totally changed my diet, all i eat when I do eat it yogurt, bananas, and soft eggs. That is all, and even then I still have horrible reflux. THis is insane. What a horrible curse this disease is.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
