Does anyone out there have the problem of aspiration during sleep? I had it happen again last night. Jumped out of bead coughing and trying to breathe. The fluid from my stomach went into my lungs. By the grace of God, after much coughing, the fluids came up out of my lungs. I have had aspiration pneumonia twice before, but last night's episode almost drowned me on the spot. I am on Prevacid and Sucralfate, I don't often have spicy food, the head of my bed is elevated. I have had reflux for 2 years and told I had a hernia in Oct. 2007. Any suggestions?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
