Today I watched a movie called Kissing Jessica Stein.
I laughed so much while I watched it. The film is uber cute.
And it has lesbians in it too! Yay Lesbians! =D
Oh and gay guys. C=
Yeah anyhow I watched it and Jessica and some other girl whose name has totally escaped me (the other lesbian) get together and it is all happy happy joy joy.
Then they break up.
Jess is bawling and begging Other Lesbian to just sit and talk about it with her again, saying how great their relationship is and that she loves her. But Other Lesbian makes a point about how "they're like roommates." & that she loves her too but "we're best friends".
So Jess moves out and they go their separate ways.
Jess runs into Josh, this one guy who professed how he felt about her while she was with Helen (that's the Other Lesbian, I finally remembered her name), and Helen finds some other chick who is actually really cute etc.
Then Jess and Helen meet up at some outdoor cafe
and talk about Jess's run-in with Josh.
Just like two best friends.
(Roll credits here)
The movie ended, so I turned it off. After that I just sat there on the ground in front of the dvd player.
"Wow. I didn't expect that to happen."
The whole time I was watching the movie I thought, Hey this is sort of familiar.
(sigh)
You can't reclaim something that is already lost; something that isn't yours. I mean, you can find it and all, but nothing assures you that what you find will be the same as when you lost it.
Or that they'll be single.
So maybe it's time to not prioritize your life around capturing what was lost.
Maybe you should just remember what all happened, how nice it was while it was there in your grasp.
And move on.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
How did it help you figure out that you are a lesbian?
I'll try and find that film I will ;)
"...even though they kill each other in the end.."
I hope all gay relationships do not end in that way. =P
