After having severe chest pain for several months (I was cleared by a cardio), I went to the doc and got put on Nexium. But while the chest pain got better, symptoms persisted. Achey stomach, lots of burping, cramping. So I had an upper endoscopy this week and my esophagus is fine but I have mild gastritis. GI said to keep taking Nexium, now twice a day. Also, I don't want to take Nexium forever (I've read some nasty stuff about it). Are there some natural remedies that can help?
