Stomach cancer (also called gastric cancer) can develop in any part of the stomach and may spread throughout the stomach and to other organs, particularly the esophagus, small intestine. It also may extend through the stomach wall and spread to nearby lymph nodes and to organs such as the liver, pancreas, and colon.

My brother in law was diagnosed with signet cell gastric cancer. From the few info I can find on the internet, they say this is a rare form of cancer.
Does anyone know any info on this or where I can look for more info on it?
Thanks!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
The only thing I can suggest would be The American Cancer Society; Questioning his Dr.; and one other idea would be The Bloch Institute, and they would have an 800 number on their webpage. Good Luck.

I had signet cell gastric cancer 5 years ago and had my entire stomach removed. Yes, it is a very RARE and JOUVENILLE cancer - meaning, they do not know enough about it. I'm doing very well today and eat most everything (minus corn and whip cream) .so hope this offers encouragement and hope.... have your brother in law message me here with any questions, k? :)
