Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
My surgeon doesn't want us to have coffee, or tea because they both have acids in them and can cause problems with our pouch lining. ie:- ulcers...
God Bless!

I had my first cup at 7 weeks and am now at the end of my 10th week and can barely get more than a 1/2 cup down before my stomach starts to gurgle. I still keep trying though....lol. I do try to limit the coffee to the weekend and only one cup a day. We love our Dunkin Donuts!!!
