The first words I heard out of surgery. What a disappointment. They found too many adhesions from a previous surgery that they had to remove. In the process of removing the adhesions, they nicked the bowel. Anyway they cleaned me all out, sealed up the nicked bowel and sewed me back up. The next day we went through the RYN surgery. This time successfully. I stayed an extra couple days and came home on Saturday. Doing pretty well. My schedule for the day is:drink Isopure, drink water, chicken broth, vitamins,(that takes a good half hour to take all of them), shower. By then it's lunch time, more broth and jello, drink more Isopure and water, nap and on to dinner (a repeat of lunch). Well I'ts time for my nap, talk later.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
